Yesterday was such a great family day. Nick's parents came over early with food (sloppy joe's, baked beans, and cake) and decorations to start off our day. Gavin ended up wearing 4 costumes by the end of the day. Nick's parents, my parents, my aunt and uncle and Isabel came over to our house since our neighborhood gets the most trick or treaters. We set up shop on our driveway. We had lawn chairs and the candy station going by 6pm. It was really fun to see the parade of children walking down the street.

Here are some pics of the day:
Gavin's costume #1: Santa
This costume is a size 6-9 months because I thought it would fit Gavin by Christmas given that he'd be 9 months then. As you can see, it fits him EXACTLY now so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a little Santa.
Costume #2: Cowboy
Costume #3: Monkey
The funniest thing was that Gavin starting bouncing as soon as we finished zipping up the costume. He really took on the character! :) However, Gavin hated the hoodie and it was just too hot.
Costume #4: Guitar...this was his favorite!
And we had to show the kids that Halloween is not so scary at our house, although we look like the Wal-Mart rollback smiley face and they are evil!
