Those of you who have been around Gavin in the past few months know that he walks behind and pushes around his toys all the time. Well, last week Gavin gathered up the courage to step away from an object in order to grab onto another object. This sort of stumbling continued for a few more days, but we knew it wouldn't be long before he ventured a few more steps. Over the weekend Steph and I were able to send him back and forth to each other while sitting a few feet apart (maybe 4-5 Gavin steps). This morning, we spread ourselves further apart, and sure enough, Gavin took about 15 steps in order to get back and forth between us. He still mixes these little bouts of walking in with a lot of crawling and doing this other little shuffle that he does. Needless to say, continuous walking is right around the corner. . .
