Animal Kingdom Family Day

We needed to regroup as a family so we headed to Animal Kingdom. The kids love looking at the animals. We signed up the kids to be "Wild Explorers" and they loved doing the scavenger hunts and activities at the various stations. They only did 9 of the 31 stations today so we'll be back soon to complete them all.
It was great seeing the kids work together on their little explorer books. Even Ellie wanted in on the action--- they get stickers after completing each task and she wanted the stickers in her book.

 Ellie didn't care if she had to lay on the floor to get her tasks done. She did this all on her own, it was pretty funny, even though my face doesn't show it. :)

 We took this picture of Gavin to compare to one that we had taken at the same place when he was probably Ellie's age. None of the other kids wanted to take a picture. :(

It was a pretty good family day. The Safari ride was great, they got to see all the animals they were hoping to see. I just look forward to the day when all the kids can pose for a picture on cue. It seems like an impossible feat at the moment.
