Ellie's VPK Graduation

Ellie completed her VPK program at Building Brains Academy language immersion school. We are so darn proud of our girl, she's just amazing. As much as she makes my head spin because she doesn't stop talking ever, it's what makes her Ellie and one of the many reasons we love her.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house at this graduation. The kids were superstars. They've only been together since the school opened in December but these kids have bonded like I've never seen a group of kids bond. It's a special group and it's the first graduating class from BBA. 

As a language immersion school, they learn Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese as well as English so the kids performed a song in each of the languages. The Spanish song had me in tears from the beginning. It's such a powerful song in my opinion and one I hope she never forgets or its messsage. 

The French song is about colors, primary colors. You can tell which color the song calls out by the scarf the students raise in the air. Ellie was in charge of the green (vert).
