UCF v Marshall basketball game

We were finally able to take my mom to a UCF basketball game.  We did take Gavin for this game and it was a little challenging but we managed to make it through.  It was a 7pm game and we arrived at 6:15pm which I thought would not be so bad but 45 minutes to a near 2 year old is an eternity.  So we walked around for a while, and got a chance to see Knightro who high-fived Gavin and stopped for a picture with us.

We found a nice spot where we could keep Gavin corralled and away from others but soon after the game started the seats in front of us filled up.  Gavin was a little antsy so we played a bit of musical chairs.  It was a pretty full house so the seats were limited.  I didn't think we could get a place just to ourselves but we went up to the nosebleed section, bought fries and Gavin sat down and enjoyed the game...and the fries.  Yes, we broke the food rule but it was the only option if we were to stay.  Normally we leave the game before the end of the 1st quarter because that's about all that Gavin can handle but he was a trooper.  It was a really close game and the crowd was loud and that made Gavin a little more interested. He bounced to the "UCF bounce song" (don't know the title of it but it's a song they play when they want all the fans to start jumping).   Gavin cheered and at times we could hear him say "U-C-F".

I think my mom enjoyed the game (it was REALLY good) but she also enjoyed watching Gavin enjoy the game.  She had no idea how much he liked them.  She still needs to see him at a football game--- he is a bigger fan of football than basketball.
