Me: uh-huh
Gavin: talk to me Mama. I want you to talk to me.
Me: I AM talking to you
Gavin: (in the fastest I have ever heard him speak ): NO, you're NOT talking to me. You're saying 'uh-huh'. I want you to talk to me, not like that.

Gavin: Can you help me find my rope?
Me: What does it look like?
Gavin: It's like a thin slinky.
