A couple of days ago, Gavin and Liam received their Halloween cards from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ron. The back story to this and why it's funny is that Mary and Ron usually send Gavin one of those cards that sing or talk when you open the card.
So, I hand Gavin his mail.
He opens up the card and says: "the music is not coming out"
Me: "it's not a music card"
Gavin: "but the people need to tell me what it says"
So, Gavin likes cards where "the people" (the Hallmark characters "hoops & yoyo") sing to him so he knows what the card says.
Mary--this doesn't mean you need to buy expensive Hallmark cards for Gavin. We talked to Gavin and he understands not all cards "talk", we just thought this was funny when he said it. :)
