Christmas Day

Christmas morning we woke up at the usual time but it felt brutally early considering we didn't go to sleep until 2:30am.  Gavin was a good sport.  He did all of his "steps" in the morning (i.e. pee, brush teeth, etc) and he waited for the pancakes to be ready before he could open presents.  That means we didn't get to presents until 9am or so.  I hope we can continue this "tradition" of having breakfast together and then sitting down and getting to presents.  I knew after presents it would be hard to get them to sit down and eat.  After presents we quickly got ready and headed out to Nick's parents' house for the day.

The Christmas tree was visible from the top of the stairs at my mom's house.  When Gavin got up and looked down all he said was "WOW."  He was slightly speechless but not for long.

He was sick but the presents made him happy!

Santa addressed Bucky to gavin AND Liam so they would share since he knew it would be a popular gift.

Liam was happy with just Bucky. He just kept pushing the button over and over.

 Thank you to all the family for the gifts.  The boys loved them all and have done a good job rotating through all of them.
