Gavin had his 5 year wellness appointment today....a few months overdue.
This time he didn't have any vaccines since he has all the ones needed to start school. They told me today he is set on vaccines until he's 11 years old. My only concern with Gavin was whether he had grown any and increased weight. At his last check-up (last year) he was at the 5th percentile for his weight and height. The ped was not concerned. Someone has to be at the 5th percentile, my only concern was whether he dropped off from there. I was pleasantly surprised when the ped said Gavin grew 4 inches and was now at the 10th percentile for height and weight, so he is proportionate. He's just a little guy. Gavin was pretty happy to hear he measured 41 inches b/c he thinks that will get him into more rides at Disney. We'll see about that. His weight is now 35.8 lbs.
He also visited the dentist today to get his cleaning before the move. He did super! Liam, on the other hand, did NOT but that's another story. But Gavin is overall a healthy boy with white teeth now. :)
