Pear Harvest

This is the second round of the "pear harvest" at the house.  The picture was taken right after picking and before they were washed.  Once we washed them, they look just like the ones in the store.  I'm guessing they're green Anjou pears but I don't know for sure.  They're pretty good.  Depending on how ripe they are, the taste ranges from a bit sour to pretty sweet.  

Regardless Gavin enjoys them just like his apples.....with peanut butter!  [I never thought we'd go through so much peanut butter but he does not get tired of this snack]
